A popular diet in the Jiu Jitsu community is the "Gracie" diet. A popular sandwich that was created in 2010 is known as the the Renergy Sandwich. It's creator, Rener Gracie, developed this sandwich which supposedly provides a lot of Renergy or more commonly known as energy. Its recipe is below
Ingredients:
spinach
almond butter
avocado
wheat bread
organic olive oil
kale chips
Directions:
1. toast wheat bread
2. spread almond butter on wheat bread
3. slice avocados and lay on one slice of wheat bread
4. sauté spinach with organic olive oil and place on other slice of wheat bread
5. garnish spinach with kale chips
6. put both slices of wheat bread together and enjoy!
The Renergy sandwich is a convenient, quick, and affordable way to create a healthy snack.
